Margalla Trail Runners is presenting the 4th edition of the Galiyat Mountain Trail Race. The race is exciting, thrilling, and challenging, 20km distance, in the mountains of Galiyat.
Galiyat Mountain Trail under the banner of Margalla Trail Runners has become the family member of UTMB® (Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc) Index Races. GMT is an annual event of UTMB® Index Races.
Galiyat Mountains are part of the Himalayan foothills located in Abbottabad District of KPK, Pakistan. The trail starts from Lalazar Park, Nathia Gali, and finishes at Jandala, Khaira Gali. The inter-connected trails are the most beautiful and scenic and one of the best routes for trail running.

Option 1: Registration Fee:
8,000 PKR (Local with discount for deserving Athletes) 10,000 PKR (National Athletes) and 13,000 PKR (International Athletes)
What’s in the 20km Race Option 1
We’ll leave on Saturday the 19th of July 2025 for Nathia Gali. The race participants will be given the facility of transportation from Islamabad to Nathia Gali, dinner, a night stay at Nathia Gali, and breakfast in the early morning. We'll return to Islamabad late evening on Sunday 20th of July 2025.
