Margalla Hills are a hill range within the Margalla Hills National Park on the northern edge of Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan. Margalla Hills are part of the mighty mountain range Himalayan foothills. The highest peak of Margalla hills is Tilla Chourani at an elevation 1,600 meters above sea level. MH has a variety of trails and the longest one is Margalla Ridge Trail and the shortest one is Trail 2.
There are several trails in the Margalla Hills. Trail 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Dhok Jewan, Saidpur, Bruti, Tilla Chourani and Ridge Trail are the most popular ones. All trails except Ridge Trail start from the base of Margalla Hills and finish at the Pir Sohawa Road, top of the Margalla Hills.
