MTR 2nd Ridge Trail Run

The weather is cloudy and rainy on Saturday morning and the Galiyat Mountain Trail Race is just 2 weeks ahead. So, it’s time to hit long runs now. Margalla Trail Runners (MTR) is going to run on the 2nd Ridge trail and it’ll be an epic adventure beyond Margalla Hills. The weather is going to become awesome this Saturday. So, don’t miss the opportunity of long-distance running in the mountains.

Starting Time: 05:00 am
Level: Advanced & Difficult
Duration: 5 to 6 hours
Terrain: Trail
Distance: 32km
Ascent: 1400 meters.
Shoes: Trail or Multi-terrain shoes
Gear, Hydration, and Food: Running vest or trail running 5 to 10 bag, hat/cap, water, snacks (dates, chocolates, etc.)

Trail 3 parking → Trail 3 Up → Monal → Gokina down→ Gokina up to 2nd Ridge→2nd Ridge→ Makhniyal→ Sangra Gali→ Dino Valley→ Pir Sohawa → Murad Gali→ Trail 5 down→ Link Trail 5/3 → Trail 3 Parking finish line.
