Margalla Trail Running (MTR) is trail running club based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The club’s objective is to promote trail running in Pakistan. MTR club members regularly run on the trails of Margalla Hills, Galiyat, & different terrains of Pakistan’s mountains from the shortest to longest distance and lowest to highest altitude.

Margalla Trail Runners organizes four annual races in a calendar year, Winter Trail Running Race Series, Inter-Club Hill Marathon, Galiyat Mountain Trail, and Margalla Backyard Ultra. Races we organize unique, challenging, and thrilling events and first, it’s kind of in the history of Pakistan.
